Vikki is that friendly voice you’ll hear when you need help with anything at LEANTEC. She’s been with us since April of 2015, bringing 20 years of experience in the Software Industry to the job. When you meet Vikki, you’re struck by her graciousness, and it doesn’t take long to see that she really cares about the people around her –whether it’s the employees, customers, or vendors.

We thought you’d like to get to know her a little better, so we asked her some questions:

1.  What are your day-to-day responsibilities?Taking care of day to day operations within the company.  Whether dealing with Vendors, Customers, Employees, etc. I do it all.

2.  What drew you to LeanTec? The fact that LeanTec was a start-up company, and I truly believed in the vision.  It’s exciting being on the front-end of something that you feel will make a difference.

3.  What do you like most about your job? The people.  I love the people I work with on a daily basis.  Whether fellow employees or customers, I feel like they’re all family.

4.  What are some of the challenges in your job? I do believe the biggest challenge is keeping up with change.  Technology is ever changing, and sometimes it’s a challenge to stay ahead of the game.

5.  Outside of work, what do you enjoy doing? My favorite pastime is spending time with my family.  Wouldn’t trade it for anything.

6.  Tell us about your family. I have a wonderful husband, Brian—we’ve been married for 4 years now. And we’re blessed with a blended family.  I have a daughter in college, a son who’s a senior in high school, a daughter who’s a sophomore and a son who’s a freshman.  Yes, they are ages 15, 16, 17 and 18.  Two of the four play high school sports, so life at home is never boring.

7.  People would be surprised if they knew ‘what’ about you…  Oh goodness, I am sure there are many surprises.  Growing up, I had a pet Cougar.  His name was Teko.  He went everywhere with me and sometimes that caused quite a commotion.  I raised him from the time he was 6 weeks old until he was 2½ years old.  Unfortunately, I couldn’t take him to college.  So my Grandpa raised him.

8.  What’s on your bucket list?  To travel to Italy with my husband.
